Numbered Areas Printed on the Working Surface

The paint-by-number design places the numbered sections and color zones directly on the cotton canvas. During a guided project, users identify an area on the surface itself instead of repeatedly transferring its position from a separate diagram. Small sections remain part of the overall printed composition, giving the painting a defined sequence of areas to complete. The starting layout is therefore present throughout the activity, even when the work is carried out over several sessions.

Frame Sections Matched to the Canvas Format

The support section increases from 1.5 × 2.0 cm on the 6 × 6-inch format to 1.5 × 2.8 cm on the 14 × 14-inch format. Larger frames therefore use a broader section instead of extending the smallest frame member across every size. The 1.5 cm dimension remains consistent across the range. In a collection containing smaller and larger painting projects, the supporting cross-section changes with the format while the nominal frame depth remains aligned.

One Mounted Surface from First Color to Finished Work

The printed cotton canvas is supplied on its frame rather than as an unstretched sheet. When a user pauses and returns to a painting project, the image remains attached to the same support instead of needing to be rolled, realigned or fixed to a temporary board. After completion, the painting does not require a separate stretching operation. The original printed layout and the finished painted surface occupy the same assembled product throughout the activity.

Custom development starts from the supplied illustration, numbered layout or color reference. Meihe prepares the artwork for the selected canvas format, keeping the printed design and its numbered areas within the visible face rather than placing essential details in the side-wrap section. MDF and pine supports are available for this product range, with the construction established alongside the design. A physical sample presents the printed result on the actual mounted canvas, allowing the artwork and assembled form to be reviewed together. Private-label production then follows that reference, while packaging artwork incorporates the brand identity and product information for the finished painting project.

Canvas and support materials are inspected before processing, and the approved illustration and physical sample establish the finished appearance requirements. The printed design is a central part of appearance acceptance for this product: numbered details and color-zone placement are evaluated against the design reference. The appearance reference remains connected to the order record together with the specified support and canvas configuration.

Semi-finished inspection verifies the prepared support and its assembled connections before canvas mounting. The completed painting face is checked for local sagging and puckering, while rear attachment points are examined for torn fabric or projecting fasteners. Front-surface and rear-fixing checks are completed on the assembled product, with any identified defect held for correction before release.

Every finished unit undergoes 100% inspection before packing, covering appearance, configuration and product identity. Goods needing correction are separated and rechecked before release, with the inspection outcome and corrective action recorded against the production lot. Packed quantity, carton identification and carton condition are verified before shipment. Third-party pre-shipment inspection is accepted for the finished products and their packing configuration.
